Workshop Highlights
This workshop is based on a series of goals and objectives.
The course includes a brief review of several terms used in statistical stacks. It explains four methods for applying statistics to tolerance stacks and covers precautions about when and how to use statistics in stacks. The course also provides several stacks for the student to practice applying statistical methods. CEUs will be awarded for successful completion of the course.

Course Highlights: Covers the concepts involved in statistical tolerance stacks in a one-day course. Topics covered include:

  • The terminology used with statistical tolerance stacks
  • Common statistical tolerance stacks methods
  • Using the RSS method for calculating statistical tolerance stacks
  • Using the realistic method for calculating statistical tolerance stacks
  • Applying the RPL method to statistical tolerance stacks
  • The Monte Carlo method for use on tolerance stacks
  • The precautions needed when using statistical tolerance stacks
  • Calculating statistical tolerance stacks
Skill Level Needed
Although this is an introductory course, in order to understand the course content, you should have completed ETI's Tolerance Stacks Using GD&T course.
