ISO Geometrical Tolerancing Guide Available in Ebook Format

Alex Krulikowski’s 376-page ISO reference guide can be purchased at lulu.com

WESTLAND, Michigan - Effective Training Inc. (ETI), a world leader in the field of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), has published a new ISO reference guide in ebook format. The digital version of Alex Krulikowski’s ISO Geometrical Tolerancing Reference Guide is now available at lulu.com. This 376-page guide is one of the most complete ISO references for geometrical tolerancing on the market. It's a handy on-the-job resource packed with information that will save companies time and money.

ETI president, Alex Krulikowski, spent nearly a year working with his dimensional engineering team compiling information about the ISO GPS standards. Designers, engineers, inspectors, and machinists will all appreciate the clear, compact, and highly accessible format of this guide.

“The ISO reference guide allows the reader to quickly and easily look up information on a topic without having to navigate through numerous ISO standards,” said Mr. Krulikowski. “Drawing interpretation is easier because the tolerancing information is in one place, arranged in a logical order, with illustrations of each concept.”

The focus of the reference guide is the interpretation of geometrical tolerancing based on several ISO standards, including 1101, 8015, 5458, 286, 2768, 2692, and 1660. One entire section is devoted to comparing ASME and ISO standards. The guide is also available in print format from the etinews.com website.

ETI Announces ISO Geometrical Tolerancing Guide

Alex Krulikowski’s ISO Geometrical Tolerancing Reference Guide is based on ISO 1101:2004 and companion standards.

WESTLAND, Michigan - Effective Training Inc., a leader in the field of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), announces a valuable new on-the-job resource for those who use ISO geometrical tolerancing. Alex Krulikowski’s ISO Geometrical Tolerancing Reference Guide clarifies how to interpret standard-compliant technical drawings that use ISO 1101:2004 and its companion published standards. The book guides the user as to which ISO standards should be referenced on a drawing and what the standards cover. One entire section is devoted to a quick comparison of ASME and ISO standards.

“Drawing interpretation is easier because the tolerancing information is in one place, arranged in a logical order, with illustrations of each concept,” said Krulikowski. “The focus of this book is the interpretation of geometrical tolerancing.”

The book includes several features to help the reader find information quickly, including indexed page edges, a visual index inside the front cover, an individual table of contents for each section, numerous cross-references, a 100-term glossary, more than 250 end notes, author’s comments, a comprehensive alphabetical index, reference charts, and drawings inside the fold-out covers.
